Elevating the Guest Experience: Crowne Plaza Quanzhou Riverview by IHG

The manufacturing brief focused on three distinct typologies: public area lounging, formal dining seating, and integrated table systems. Each piece was engineered to balance structural longevity with the intricate curves defined by the interior design.

The manufacturing process integrated diverse techniques to deliver a cohesive furniture suite, ranging from the production of monumental lounge seating to the precision joinery of formal dining assets. The lobby chairs were constructed to maintain their distinct, high-backed silhouettes through reinforced framing, while the dining chairs utilised CNC-machined solid hardwood components for consistent durability. Complementing the seating, the bespoke table systems featured stone inlays and stable pedestal bases, engineered for seamless material transitions and balance. This holistic production approach ensured that every piece, from the upholstered lounge furniture to the dining tables, met the aesthetic and functional requirements of a luxury hospitality environment.

Architectural high-back chairs featuring dual-tone upholstery and reinforced frames are paired with modular low-profile sofas constructed from shape-retaining high-density foam. These units incorporate recessed bases and high-performance textiles, providing long-term comfort and flexible configurations to meet the functional demands of a busy hotel environment.

Precision-machined solid hardwood chairs feature curved backrests for ergonomic support, finished with a hard-wearing lacquer for commercial durability. They are paired with large-scale banquet tables, which utilise heavy-duty pedestal bases and stone-inlaid tops to provide a stable, refined surface for high-capacity luxury dining.
